Quill PR makes two new appointments to its award-winning team

Sarah Gibbons-Cook and Louise Hill have joined the expanding team at financial services consultancy, Quill PR.

Sarah Gibbons-Cook joined financial services consultancy Quill PR on Monday as a Director after more than 13 years as Investment Trust Investor Relations and PR Manager at Janus Henderson.

She brings more than two decades of investment trust experience to the team having previously spent 14 years at the Association of Investment Companies (AIC).

Former journalist Louise Hill recently joined Quill, taking up a role as Head of Content in early May.

Hill’s experience includes working across local, trade and national press, most recently as This is Money’s business and markets reporter at the Mail Online.

Prior to the Mail Online Louise was a Senior Reporter at Portfolio Adviser, a magazine and website covering the asset and wealth management space.

Sam Emery, Quill Managing Director, said: “We have an exciting pipeline of new business opportunities this year and both Sarah and Louise make great additions to our expanding team.

“Sarah brings significant experience and knowledge to help boost our work in the investment trust space, an area we have worked in since Quill’s founding 18 years ago. She will bring an extra edge and fresh ideas to our work and be a huge asset to the team.

“We are also thrilled to have a former journalist on board, with Louise growing our content services for clients as well as our social media offering.”

These latest hires follow the appointment of Emma Murphy, formerly of Citigate Dewe Rogerson’s corporate practice, as a Director in January as well as Quill’s success at the Headline Money Awards where the team won the PR Agency of the Year award for the second consecutive year.
