Quill PR named ‘Agency of the Year’ for second year

Financial services consultancy Quill PR has been named Agency of the Year at the annual Headline Money awards for the second year running.

Quill PR has once again won the prestigious Agency of the Year title at the annual Headline Money awards – seeing off tough competition for the second year in a row.

Standing against five other shortlisted agencies, Quill – a specialist financial services consultancy firm – was revealed as the winner during a much-anticipated ceremony at The Brewery, London on Tuesday night (May 8).

The prestigious awards have run for nearly two decades and bring together the biggest and brightest from the world of financial journalism and PR.

A panel of journalists judged who should be given the illustrious title and applauded Quill for its commitment to both clients as well as its wide range of media contacts.

One journalist involved in the judging said: “From my side of the fence the team goes the extra mile for journalists and I’m sure they do the same for their clients.

“There’s also a stickability within the personnel which must be a help. Rapid turnover at PR agencies does not inspire confidence.”

The category recognising work done by external PR agencies was introduced last year, with Quill securing the title once again this week.

Quill managing director Sam Emery said: “Winning the Agency of the Year award for the second time is an amazing achievement for the team who have worked so hard over the past year. This award is testament to the professionalism and good humour they show every day working alongside our clients and journalists in what is a busy and challenging industry.

The Headline Money awards are a prestigious annual event for PR professionals and journalists working in financial services and has run for nearly 20 years.
